March 19, 2022 was the day that, a match didn't happen.

The football team of Mariupol would have received the FC Kollos for the Ukrainian Premier League.

The game was supposed to be hosted at the Volodymyr Boyko Stadium.
Home of FC Mariupol. 57,3km away from the Russian border.

After relentless assaults from the Russian army, the city was left in ruins.
The training center was bombed. The Club's campus became the enemy's barracks.
And the team, that once was a symbol of unity and identity, ceased to exist.

But Football is not just a game. It is a vital necessity of our existence as humans.

A common ground that bonds every single person on Earth.

In the darkest of times, it's a symbol of hope for a brighter tomorrow.

One year later, the Football of Mariupol will keep living in the land of football.

Ukraine has always opened the gates of Europe to Brazilians. Now, it's time for Brazil to welcome
the Ukrainians and keep the FC Mariupol alive.

We will turn the AA Batel, the football team from the largest Ukrainian
community in South America, into FC Mariupol.

Football is a symbol of resistance. It has been and always will
be a unifying power when it comes to bringing people together.

Football has already stopped many wars.
But no war will ever stop the spirit of football.

We will take care of FC Mariupol, until all the Ukrainians
can go to Volodymyr Boyko Stadium again to watch their home team play.
